Spiritually Speaking, did you hear:Soviet dissident writer Solzhenitsyn dies at 89?

As most of us our fairly well read, can we have a moment of peace in his memory?
He passed away earlier today.

I've read all of his works and had the priviledge of seeing him when he was on a speaking tour in 1974.
What a sad day.........

I didn't know. Now I'm sad. Now I'm really sad.

To my shame, I've read much more about him, than by him. I'm going to redeem that.

Truly, he was a wise man who understood the real threat the Soviet Union and communism, in general, posed, and still poses, worldwide.

His voice, however, will live on in his works and words.

"His conclusion is Communism will always be totalitarian and violent, wherever it is practiced."

May he rest in peace.

Have a blessed day.

As a very silly answer to you question: I didn't. Thank you for letting us know. I also was an admirer of his.
