peeved with the new answers format?

why does my avatar not appear, when i answer some questions. generally it does, but sometimes not. by the way how is the new answers format working for you? it seems a little more restrictive and the "suggestions" are annoying. i hate being corrected at every turn and it can inhibit free expression. just wondering. i really don't like not being able to request a spell check. i'm feeling a bit paranoid that they are available, only at the discretion/discernment of the answers community. i'm having my thoughts edited as i write them...that's no fun.

I just hate the pop ups with their stupid suggestions and spelling errors.

a) Avatars appearing and not appearing has always been a problem.
b) Now that I am used to it I am OK with it, and can bypass the breather problem most of the time.
c) The pop ups can be closed, but you need to close it for each answer. I am too busy looking at the keyboard to be worried by the spell check popping up.
I like the idea as it may improve some of the spelling we see. It corrected two for me, words joint together because I haven't hit the space bar.

When someone cuts in front of you in traffic only to turn less than a mile down the road When the cashier packs raw meat with other grocery items or packs the bread so it gets squished. When you use stain remover in the wash and the stain remains anyway!!

I dislike it and would be delighted to turn off the warning that I have a lot of (absolutely correct) punctuation, or a misspelling, when I don't.

It's nice to offer these to the user who would like a little help or guidance to write better questions and answers, but I don't want or need help, you know?
