Is Dual Core Technology better and faster than Hyper-Threading Technology?
In intel http://www.intel.com/products/processor_number/flash/demo.html under Dual Core they show that Dual Core Technology seems to be faster than the Hyper-Threading Technology.

Usually dual cores have Hyper Threading Technology as both Intel and AMD would not throw away a good CPU system in fact they have added more types of sub-routines to their processors for even more speed
intel is by far the inferior product. Hyper threading is just a way to try to make it sound like they are actually doing something. have you ever noticed that Intel spends all kinds of money on advertising to the mainstream. Most people like yourself just sit there and say" what is that" and then go out and buy it because it sounds good, like it really works. in truth if you want to see real results go with the AMD. it is much more efficient. it uses less power to do more work. the P4 uses so much power it needs a special fan to keep it from overheating. the AMD on the other hand does much more work per clock cycle. look an AMD package. you will see they have a number and a chip speed. the speed will be lower than the number, such as an 1800+ number but only a 1.56 GHZ clock speed. that is what is called a P number, or the equivalent speed pentium chip you will need to do the same work.
Hyper-threading used a single core processor and divided that power between 2 tasks ... dual core processors split the tasks between separate processors of the same power thereby completing both processes to the full capacity of the hardware
