I strongly disagree with our status as the policeman of the World.

It is ironic that this has come to be. A country in which the founders advised non-intervention, peace, commerce and honest friendship, has now become the policeman of the world, with over 700 bases in 130 countries.

I believe we should leave all the countries that we're currently occupying and allow them to be free.

As a US legal citizen for 69 years, at this point I am sick of it.
As the Brit noted in their answer, as long as the US tax payers support a US world police system that protects them they do not care.
The US needs to wise up and stop being manipulated by the UN and French/German NATO members. They want no responsibility, no cost, and the ability to criticize the US.

We have no more right to police the world than Caesar, Napoleon or Hitler had. They bit off more than they could chew and we are on the road to the same path to oblivion.

I'm very annoyed by it. We need to stay out of other country's affairs, unless we are being threatened.

Bush, Obama, or McCain should have NOTHING to say about the current Russia/Georgia conflict as it is not our business to step in.
