Michael Phelps...news says he drinks an energy drink that is 1000 calories...?
Does anyone know the name of it? I ask because my daughter has failure to thrive problems and just want to investigate it a little further to see if it would help her put on some weight. Thanks!

I have read the news reports and I know he eats 12,000 cal. a day, I also know the menu and that it includes "energy drinks" which is what I am asking about. I have no intentions of giving my daughter something without investigating and checking with her Drs. If it is not a store bought energy drink, I would also be interested in the recipe. Thanks.

I don't know...But he has to consume 8,000-12,000 calories a day so obviously he will be drinking several different energy drinks.

A five-egg omelet Bowl of Grits Three slices of French toast with powdered sugar Three chocolate-chip pancakes Two Cups of Coffee Total: 4,000 Calories LUNCH A pound of pasta with tomato sauce Two large ham, chese and mayo sandwiches on white bread. Energy Drinks Total: 4,000 Calories DINNER One pound of pasta with tomato sauce Six to eight pizza slices Energy Drinks 4000 calories
It most likely isn't something that is a labeled produced drink, he probably makes it himself. It is probably protein-based and then with some added things in it. you could start out with regular whey protein and then add stuff in from there including milk, fresh or frozen fruits, etc.
Also if your daughter has failure to thrive you should check with her primary care physician before beginning any new homeopathic treatments.
The energy drink is not a 1,000 calories. He eats one with lunch and dinner and it helps contribute to the 1,000. At dinner he eats a pound of pasta, a large pizza, and an energy drink.
