Has anyone seen the Duracell commercial when the mom can't find her son?
Since her son was chipped she was able to find her with her location device powered by duracell batteries.
It is only a matter of time that babies will be chipped in the hospital.
Will you chip your babies? Does this concern you? Or are you in the chip line?

Erin and Suzzion...thanks for correcting me on the technology. Guess I jumped the gun...although this is just another conditioning tool for us to say, "Yes, please chip me"?
And to the answerer who said you have nothing to hide...maybe not right now. Governmental power gives us ALL reason to be cautious...what's legal today will not be soon. For example, buying food with cash!
Thanks for all the answers!

erin 7 is right, this particular product is a clip on, BUT RFID's are being used in this capacity right now with Alzheimer's Pt's, GPS and all. They will surely be used for other things. Identity theft, lost kids, convenient shopping, access to accounts world wide, airport security, etc. etc. And no, I will not chip my family, and yes, it concerns me. Anyone who isn't concerned has not paid attention to DARPA, Homeland security, CCTV cameras, facial recognition software, and such. Thanx for the question kiddo, great one.
Yes, I've seen the commercial. The product that is used in the commercial is Brickhouse Child Locator. Children aren't chipped like dogs. It's a little thing that you clip on a kids' shoe of belt loop and when the kid pulls a disappearing act you push a button on a remote you carry and the thing on the kid starts beeping really loud. There's no GPS tracking your kid or anything.
I have absolutely nothing to hide, if you want to chip me, my kids and my dog go ahead!
If we were all chipped crimes would be solved right away, we would not have thousands of unfound bodies, child molesters would think twice before grabbing a child, we could locate people who have disappeared in floods, earthquakes, avalanches etc.
My now 23 years old daughter and I had this discussion back when she was 10 years old. I have rules and my daughter followed the rules, she knew better than to make mom mad. Chips in humans just another way of big brother keeping a eye on us, no thanks.
I will not do any thing that lets the government electronically control where I am or see where where I am. This includes my kids. On a lighter side, wouldn't batteries have to last a lot longer than they do now.
