I love to read historical romance novels. I get so caught up in the love story that i forget that i am learning. Does anyone know any good romance novels set in ancient Greece?

You have to trust me on this because my books are all boxed up right now. I believe the title is My Mother & the Turk. It's set in WWII Greece during the occupation. It's very well written with some well-placed humor. I remember not wanting to put it down.

Hmmmm....ancient Greece. I know of a series by Alice Borchardt that is set in ancient Rome. And, of course, Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter books are based in the present but many of her characters are from ancient Greece/Rome/Scotland etc. Sorry I couldn't be of more help! I haven't run across many ancient Greek romances yet. I'll let you know if I do :)

Kaye Dacus has some new historic romance out. Tamara Alexander is surprising. The gal who wrote Calico Canyon, oh, wait, you have have been given her on your checklist already. Judith Pella and Bodie/Brock Thone are from approximately 10 years in the past, yet they're good. Francine Rivers does some historic and a few modern-day.

All of these are based on ancient Greek tales and reworked as historical romances.
