I-pod v. Zune? What one should i get?

I need some serious help.
I was just gonna get a new i-pod classic since my nano is so small it can only hold half my music, but now my one friend has a zune and when i mentioned getting a new i-pod he said why would u want one of those and got me into debating whether a zune really is better.
It has the wireless which ipod don't along with radio and some other cool features but i already have like 70 dollars worth of itunes music and itunes gift cards galore which would all go to waste with the zune.
so i am kinda torn on what to get.

Well, Zunes are slightly cheaper, but not by that much. And you don't have to have an iPod to use iTunes--with the iTunes software, you can convert the format from m4a to AAC, which most mp3 players should take (and more than likely the Zune--my cheap Sandisk even takes AAC's). Just use Windows Media Player to sync the files after you've converted them.

So anyway, iPod vs. Zune. IPods have a larger market for accessories, which is cool. And since they've been around so long, there are few bugs, if any. Plus, there are many different kids and colors of iPods, while Zunes only come in 2 sizes (physical size, I mean) and only a few colors. However, Zunes work with a wider variety of music programs, I think; the full-size Zune has a huge screen, if you like that, and you can put pictures on it (as well as video, like the iPod), and like you said, they have a radio (with the title and artist of every song on the screen), and you can share music wirelessly (although the person you sent it to or vise versa can only play the song 3 times, then they have to go download it). Also, with Zunes, they take more formats than iPods (I think), so you can put music straight from a CD to a Zune without conversion. (Seeing as I own neither, this is all just information I've gathered from my friends and my own observation).

I'm trying to decide for myself which one I want, and I haven't quite decided yet. I'm leaning toward the Zune, just because I'm sort of anti-Mac, ever since I attempted to change the desktop on one and it took me all of 20 minutes to finally figure out how on earth to do it. Go Microsoft!!

both are good. I personally prefer iPods, even though they're a bit more expensive. but that's just because I've gotten used to it. but if you'd rather get a zune, they're supposed to automatically convert all your songs from iTunes, so if you spent the gift cards and stuff and then got a zune, then it should move them over to your zune. but one big turn off for me is that zunes don't have sleep timers, and I like to have music when I go to bed, but I don't want it playing all night long. just weigh your options, and decide which you think would be better for you.

iPod- Has greater of a variety of songs, television shows, movies, or perhaps video games. additionally, (in case you got a video iPod) in case you have a digicam you may acquire photographs, and short 30 2d movies on your iPod. yet they're greater high priced. Zune- Sorry i've got not got a Zune, or understand everybody who has one.
