Does anyone evr go back and check their resolved questions to see if someone has left you a comment (the option is just below the resolved Q/A...)?
Has anyone ever left a comment hoping the Asker could email you (or whatever) to send you additional information about the question?
How many of you have left comments on resolved Q's with no response from the Asker?

I always leave a 'Comment' when the asker chooses me as the Best Answer.This is a good way of thanking them for the Best Answer they awarded us.Also its a way to make them think that we have indeed seen them awarding Best Answer to us.
Its a good feature as some users asked me to leave a Comment and explain further about the Question.These users had NOT enabled E-mail.
I have received only 1 E-mail so far for the Comment I gave about thanking the Asker for his Best Answer.But normally I do not get an E-mail for the Comments I've left.This is because many users would not have seen that and do not know of this feature!
I even see whether others have left for a comment so I could learn something from them!

I use the comment option a lot - I like to follow-up with a final comment; to say thank you or your welcome. Yes, I do go back and check resolved questions to see if others have left comments as well. No, I never really commented with the hopes of a follow-up email - too worried about security. I have lefts comments with no response from the asker, but that is okay. It could just go on and on with no end - like a public conversation, so it is fine if there is no response.
Sometimes, I won't comment also because I don't feel there is a need to do so. The Q&A doesn't really create a need or desire to do so.

I have never even thought of looking at my comments to my Resolved questions. But, I have given one comment, to someone else's Resolved question before. They never responded back though, which doesn't really matter to me. I just left the comment there, because I was bored.

I don't remember how i found out about it, but ever since then I do check the resolved questions and I leave comments sometimes on BA saying thanks. I don't think too many people know about it either. I sure didn't forever
