i have an lg shine and i want an iphone 3g without a 2 year contract
i no that you have to pay more already but can i just go to att store and buy the phone and put my sim card in it with out buying the iphone plan

also do i have to pay activation if i put my own sim card in

Nope, you cannot buy iPhone from AT&T Store without the 2-years AT&T contract. You need to get your phone unlocked if you want to use Prepaid on it. If you need unlocked iPhone, you can mail me or talk with me on Yahoo!
