If I like dutch Marco Borsato's music, what other singer, of course dutch, would you recommend?

That's quite difficult, since in his category, Marco Borsato is the absolute top in the Netherlands...

Depends also on whether you like the slower songs or the more upbeat ones... Slower: Xander de Buisonjé. More upbeat: Jeroen van den Boom.

Btw, have you ever tried the originals of the Borsato songs? Many of his songs (esp. the early work) are adaptations of Italian songs.

Hmmm good question. Marco Borsato has a lot of Italian influences actually, because he is partly Italian himself. An other Dutch singer that has his style.... that's difficult..

What you might try, though their styles are different from Marco Borsato, are:

Spinvis (actually one of the best things in Dutch language, his lyrics are so beautifull.. Spinvis is not really comparable to other things. )
