Home speakers using the wall for producing sound?

Hello,

I have seen a news talking about wall speakers many months ago, you would vacuum-stuck them on the wall and they would produce sound by using the wall.

Does anyone know what i am talking about and can you remind me the brand name or model ?

facultative question : Is there an affordable microphone designed to record sound from a solid surface like a wall ?
