The major reason that there is currently no vaccine for HIV is that the virus mutates (changes) alot. A vaccine might kill some mutations, but not all of them.

in usual vaccines, the virus is weakend so ur body can fight it.
However, hiv actually WEAKENS ur bodys ability to fight back, so injecting a weakened form of hiv doesnt make a difference, ull still get sick.
