go on vrbo.com they are independently owned homes that the owners rent out. You can get an oceanside/countryside/lakeside/gardenside estate and rent it out for the weekend. Inquire about the weekend you're looking for, the owners are usually super-nice and willing to be flexible on price, days rented, etc. Good luck!
