Hi everyone. I really really want a MySpace. But for some reason my parents won't let me. They're afraid of child predators and such, but I look way older than I look. I'm also the tallest in my grade (I'm 6' 1-3").
How can I convince them to let me get a MySpace?
I would, but my sister would rat me out. Big time.

OK, well firstly sit down with them and ask them exactly why they don't want you to have my space. explain to them that you can put your page n private, which means only people you accept as friends can look at your page and site. Myspace is safe and if you calmly explain to them why you want Myspace maybe they will give you a chance. Tell them you will show them your Myspace every now and then so they understand it. If they still say no, you need to respect your parents decisions and not go behind their backs. Your time will come one day !

The anserw is simple. Your parents are right there could be perverted child predetors and they could pose as somone you might now

Do you honestly need their permission?
Just get one, they'll never know.
Anyway...
Only add people you actually know from school or whatever.
Also, you can make your profile private so only your friends can see it & talk to you.
Just tell them that.

Show them that you can put on private
put your picture so only your friends can see it.
give them your password and email\
show them your friends profiles
show them what myspace really is.
