For the past two weeks, I've been feeling a kind of pressure on my ribs/lungs/something in that area, especially when I'm sitting down. Laying on my stomach is extremely umcomfortable, like my ribs are poking something they shouldn't be but It's not really stabbing pain, just dull, like its twisted wrong. I can breathe fine, though, so it's not that bad. Also my stomach has been feeling funny, like between my ribcage. Does anyone know whats going on?
Thanks!

That depends on which side of your ribcage you are feeling these things. On the right side you have a lung,a kidney, gallbladder, duodenum and upper intestines. On the left side you have a lung, a kidney, your heart and your pancreas. Most likely you are either constipated, have impacted stool or your gallbladder is infected or has stones. It really sounds like you have trapped gas though. Esp if if bugs you when you lay on your stomach. Try gas ex. Try an antacid for a few days and stay away from greasy fatty or spicy foods. That should help if the pain is your gallbladder. Drink plenty of water and do not hold your pee or poop. That should help if is your kidney or intestines. Also, try a stool softener to make sure you dot have impacted stool. If you still feel this way after doing these things, make an appt with your doctor. There are way to many scenarios to list them all here. Good luck and remember that you know your body better than anyone else so always push to find the answer!
it ought to no longer be gasoline. have you ever considered the surgeon on your gall bladder?? in case you have gallstones, you will get insufferable soreness on your ribs and chest section, mimmicking a heart attack and additionally soreness on your shoulder blades. The surgeon could have you ever get an abdomen ultrasound to be taught you for gallstones. If it starts off up returned, bypass to the closest ER. they are able to run exams to rule out gall stones, hiatal hernia, etc. God Bless.
