i was just thinking about it, and there is no team that you can "guarantee" that is going to win. i mean dolphins beating san diego. or look buffalo was supposedly for real, and they got their behinds whooped by an average cardinals team (boldin-less). i think the best team is denver just because they have a good and young QB wr tandem and very solid defense with playmakers everywhere

You have to love parity in the NFL. Knowing that your team has a chance at the beginning of the new season to make it and go all the way is so aresome. So here we are in the season staring the sixth week in the face. At the moment I would say Pittsburgh and Denver. Although they should have lost to San Diego. With Buffalo at 4-1, Pittsburgh at 4-1, Denver at 4-1, and the "powerhouses" like the Colts, Chargers, and Jaguars gone, it's a new day in the AFC. The Patriots are 3-1, but they have been neutered with Brady. The 3 wins that they have are teams that they should have one anyway. That's what happenes when they have the leagues easiest schedule. That's not a knock on the Patriots, but honestly, where's the kudos when you beat someone you are supposed to beat?
compared to the NFC, the AFC is a weak conference. But don't be so quick to judge, there are still 11 games left, that's allot of football. I still see the Bills, Jets, Panthers, Jags, Steelers, Colts and Denver and possibly the Chargers all still having a chance to rise to the top of their respective divisions. Yea, they are not as well balanced as the NFC east, but they will provide good entertainment non-the-less.
I agree that the Broncos and Steelers are you best teams at the moment in the AFC. The Titans have one of the best Defenses in the league but the lack of offense is going to really hurt them soon.
