Are there any freshwater lakes where one could take his family for a guided fishing excursion?
Thank you for any available links or information that could help me locate a good place to catch a few edible fish from a freshwater source.

you can take a ship from "Hertzelia" to the sea and fish (see attached link"
also there are special "freshwater fish farms" you can fish in
and you can always go fish in the "Sea of Galilee " (AKA Lake Kinneret)

Why in the world would you want to go catch bait fish when there is the Med Sea out there with real fish in it.
Snag on to something as heavy as you are and you will sell your bass boat.
