How do you access your hard drive on Vista?

How do you access your hard drive on a new laptop running Window's Vista?

The Hard drive just says access denied.
And won't let me do anything, from the only account on the computer. How do I get the computer to let me use the hard drive.

click Start Button
click Computer
double click C:

Click on the little start button on the bottom left side of your computer and then click on computer, there you are :)
