Why does my zune randomly speed up songs?

I dont know if its due to the new update or not but random songs on my zune keep getting sped up to sound like chipmunks are singing it. I also have songs that are starting to go extremely slow or sound distorted. Its like a virus and keeps spreading to other songs randomly. Ive lost my whole eminem CD now because of this and several rock songs. Its extremely random and it basicly speeds the song up so fast that it sounds like chipmunks cd, VERY ANNOYING! 

Then i also noticed the time bar no longer works with random songs too, its just stays still and doesnt ever move and if you try to fast forward it freezes for a second then skips to the next song.

This happened to me too. what i did was
1.connect my zune to my pc
2. click on settings in the top right corner of the zune program
3. click on device (next to software)
4. Click on device update (on the list in the left side)
5. Finally click on Install games
