I have a Honda Nighthawk 750 and it sits outside under a cover at night.?

Whenever I first start to ride in the morning, my rear drum brake squeals very loudly on the first application. After that, it is fine for the whole day. Is this normal or should it be considered as something serious? Thanks!

Sounds to me like you're getting some condensation on your brake disk or pads. The first time you use the brakes it wears off. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

While "That Guy" is on the track, this condensation will cause rust and damage your breaks and rusts the non protected/ non stainless steel items on your bike. In addition, it can cause early wear on throttle/brake and clutch cables.

You need to come up with a better cover thadoesn'tnt trap condensate in / under the cover.

If you cover your bike make sure it's the breathable type cover, or if it's plastic make sure the bottom is opened so it can breath. Condensation won't build up as much if there's air flow.
