All right so I watched the TV show Prison Break last night for the first time and it was really good, but I was a little lost as I didn't know much about the story up unto the part. So could someone just give me a quick briefing on it please?

Season 1.. Linc was wrongly accused of shutting the VP's bro (set up by "the company").. michael gets imprisioned in order to break his brother out (he tattooed the blue prints)
Season 2.. They are on the run, make their way to mexico..
Season 3.. Michael ends up in a mexican prison, sona (forgot how).. he is then told by the company that he must break up a guy named whistler, and if not they would kill lj & sara (linc's son & michael g/f, but sara ends up escaping, but they say that she was killed).. so he breaks whistler out
Season 4.. Michael's back in the US to avenge sara's "death" but he ends up finding out that she lived, so he goes to get her but ends up getting arrested.. he is then given the option of a deal, he helps bring down the company and he and a team are given immunity.. he has to bring down the company by finding the 6 parts of scylla (the companys list of all involved) and how to decode it..

Self.. detective that gave them the oppurtunity for immunity
Sucre.. was imprisioned with them in sona, has stuck by them since
Mahone.. FBI agent that were trying to recapture them in season 2, ended up imprisioned in season 3 with them and escaped with them
Bellick.. prison officer in season 1, ended up in jail as well in season 3
Tbag.. escaped with them in season 1, but they never trusted him (they are the ones that cut off his hand).. escaped on his own from sona & has whistlers bird book (that tells where scylla decoder is)
Gretchen/Susan.. worked for the company in season 3, held sara/lj captive
I think thats all the basic, i missed the newest episode so things may have changed, but this should let you know some of it.. i really suggest watching all of it.. its a really good show thats really interesting.. they end up in situations that seem impossible to get out of, but michael is usually smart enough to thing about it one step ahead..

Season 1 was all about Michael breaking out his brother Lincoln from Fox River and that's where he met Sara (the prison doctor) and they did break out along with 6 other cons and they were called Fox River 8.
Season 2 was spent running around trying to find the people who framed up Lincoln and eventually led them to Panama where they were planning to start a new life; final episode of the season showed Michael being arrested and was locked up again in the Panama prison.
Season 3 was about breaking out again but they were to break out someone from inside the prison - James Whistler. The Company wanted him out for some reason and they did so again successfully. It was shown assumed that Sara died in Season 3 and this left Michael so devastated that he badly wanted to go out to avenge her death. They successfully escaped once again.
In Season 4, (i think that's what you saw), Sara is alive and this time they are breaking in. They are looking for the 6 cards to complete Scylla and decode the company's little black book to take the company down.
