How do I rewire a modem/phone jack (plug) ?
The cable from my modem to my laptop has got broken near the plug which goes into the laptop [small square plug or jack]. How do I undo the plug and fix it?

The plug is factory made and can't be repaired. If you have an RJ45 replacement plug and the special tool that is required fro crimping it, you could replace the plug. But if you had these items you would already know what to do so I assume that you do not. It would be far easier and cheaper simply to replace the cable from any electronics hardware or computer store.
