Men's feelings on Hysterectomy?

I am due to have a Hysterectomy in 3 weeks. My husband has expressed some concerns but not all because I know he is trying to protect me form any pain or stress. He's like that. I am wondering how other men felt about their wives hysterectomy? If your wife changed much? Sex? Attitude? Socially? Anything you can tell me about your feelings after her surgery and your feelings? Only serious responses please!

I dated a woman who had a hysterectomy - years before I met her - I wouldn;t have even known if she didn't tell me - it didn;t affect sex

My hysterectomy was done at age 31 (now 34) and it was after unsuccessfully trying to conceive after five years. So my surgery was very emotional and painful to go through. But my attitude didn't' change, our sex lives didn't change, nothing changed but I didn't get a period and I wear a hormone patch (because mine was a complete hysterectomy). My husband was worried about me in all aspects but he was there for me and helped me through it all. My recovery time physically was about six weeks. After the first three or four days, it helped me to walk around the house as much as I could so I wouldn't get so stiff sitting for too long. Good Luck and it will be fine.

A Hysterectomy does not change sex IN ANY WAY.
