Effective ways to lose weight when you have persistant and chronic back pain?

I had back surgery July 2006 and have lost and kept off 35 pounds (which I've never been able to do before). The problem I'm having is that I really should lose at least another 50 pounds, but every excercise I do causes bad back pain. I live in a small town and don't have access to and can't afford a fitness center or gym. I have horses but it's kinda hard to ride on a regular basis with winter setting in and no indoor arena to ride in.

My doctor has recommended the bariatric surgery, but I'm really leery of any kind of surgery to take care of this. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I also have arthritis setting into my back and I have a dog that I walk on as regular a basis as I can but am limited by the back pain.

any movement will help, maybe you can't loose it as fast as you want too, but anything in your body you can move, move it until your sweating. just think about if you need to loose 50 lbs, you are probably not very skinny, think how your back is working under this extra weight.that's like carrying 2 heavy grocery bags in your hands all the time. try dancing to music you like (don't worry about looking funny) just move whatever is moveable but do that until you feel it in your muscles. and hopefully little by little will come off. take care

plenty of written/video testimonials about how people relieved their joint and muscle pain with MonaVie juice. And its also good for losing weight, I've lost 15 lbs in a month. It surprised me because I started drinking the juice just to relieve my knee pain.
