In my opinion we as a nation have gotten way to involved in having congress and the courts investigate and pursue the executive branch I said it when they started impeachment against Clinton.. it got worse with Bush.. and if allowed to continue will be out of control when Obama leaves office... IMHO he <Obama> would be best served by blanket pardoning Bush as soon as he gets in office .. this would acomplish 3 things...
1) his administration could deal strictly with the change he wants to create and not be tied up investigating the past
2) it will stop the cycle of infringing on the executive branch
3) it will help ease the tension between the parties...
would you be supportive of Obama doing this or not?

ok just to clarify i did NOT say Bush HAS committed a crime.. what i AM convinced of is that CONGRESS is fully prepared to waste months of time investigating the current administration and if you doubt that.. you need only look at what they say to understand it is true..
a pardon up front for any and all crimes committed while in office would put an immediate end to that.. and hopefully establish a president that the executive BRANCH of our government is NOT and should not be subordinate to the judicial branch.

I think you make good points, but I don't want him to pardon Bush. That would mean Bush was convicted of a crime which he is not and will not be. These people are ignorant mouth breathers..."Bush...Bush...Bush", bunch of zombies. They are everywhere...zombies...and I'm sure they eat flesh too.
Yeah, one guy does it all. Well, I'll go along with that logic and everything negative will be blamed on Obama the exact moment after the official ceremony which is January 20, 2009 (12:00 - 4:00pm), until Obama leaves office. We are going to ride this guy hard and Democrats are going to like it because we said so.
Mouth breather:
1. literally, someone who lacks enough intelligence that they never learned to breathe through their nose.
2. a really dumb person.
"In his latest work, the director has forsaken the indie audience and made something for the mouthbreathers."
He does not need to be pardoned unless formal charges are brought against him. I would prefer that we forget about it and get on with the business of improving our government and our legislative process. It wouldn't solve anything to keep ranting about the Bush administration.
If, on the other hand, an international tribune charges Bush with war crimes, then Obama would not have the power to pardon him.
I think it would be more productive to talk about the changes we hope to make instead of stirring up more squabbles between the parties. It's this sort of behavior which has gotten us into this mess in the first place.
The only people who think Bush is actually guilty of anything illegal have IQs of below 80.
There's no money he has spent that wasn't previously approved by Congress.
There's no action he's taken that has not been condoned and approved by Congress.
There's nothing Bush's said that wasn't being said by leading Democrats before he even ran for President.
If I were Bush and Obama offered me a pardon as soon as he took office. I'd call a press conference and refuse the pardon on the grounds that as President of the US I was within my rights according to the powers granted by the US Constitution. And demand a trial. Democrats would soil their underware. And I'd be laughing my biblical beast of burden off when they did.
Did something happen when I fell asleep last night that I missed. What kind of crime did Bush do last night that he would need to be pardoned for? Yesterday, he wasn't the most liked president, but there was no conviction for any crime. Who is investigating what?
President Bush has commited no crime, why would he need pardoned? Thats like saying should Obama pardon McCain? McCain didnt break a law, why would he need pardoned.
So, in answer to your question, I would think Obama was an idiot and unbecomming of Commander and Chief if he pardoned someone who didnt break a law. That would be an insane act.
