I think all these terrorists should be vigorously hunted down to the ends of the Earth, and brought to trial in the United States, so we can sue them.

If they're "hard core fanatics" I doubt bail will be set. There are innocent people who have lived for 1/2 a decade in Gitmo without the benefit of an attorney or trials. Give these detainees a trial and if they're innocent let them go. If they are found guilty give them the strongest sentence they can receive under our law.

If they are hard core fanatics then they won't get out on bail. Let's have faith in our judicial system. America has always stood on the principle that people are entitled to a fair trial. And that includes non-Americans. "All men are created equal." And yes its possible that a person might not be "put away" that deserves to be.....but that is the cost of living in a free society. If you want to live in an oppressive society to feel safer, by all means go. As Ben Franklin said: those who would give up freedom for security deserve neither.

I think that we have to let the Trials at Nuremberg be our guide on this issue.We tried to give the Nazi's a fair trail not because of who they were But rather because of we were.I think that the same rules have to apply to the people who are detained at Gitmo.Bring them all into Federal Court in Foley Square .Let them have their day in court .Those who are not guilty set free. Those who are guilty build a gallows where the The Twin Towers of the WTC once stood and hang the bastards in full view .
As far as your Q about bail goes :If bail is set and they do make it I think that it would be really interesting to see where the money comes from >>and so would the FBI

Just so you know, the military has said that almost 2/3rds of them are completely innocent. The CIA says that 2/3rds of them are innocent.
So, your question needs to be reworded. You should say "What happens when Obama closes Gitmo, and innocent people make bail?" Well, I think that's a step in the right direction
