Will using welfare to buy birth control have a negative impact later?

My girlfriend has been prescribed Yasmin birth control. It costs $50/month and planned parenthood doesn't carry it because it costs so much. They told her about another option, in which she gets an Access card and gets discounted birth control at the actual pharmacy. Will using this program ever come back to haunt her?

Not at all. I currently have insurance but mine does not cover birth control so I automatically qualify for the card BUT At the pharmacy I only get generics where as in planned parent hood I get the name brand.
