If you have 200 texts a month, does that mean sending and receiving or only sending?

I'm confused. My parents signed up for 200 texts a month and I want to know if that means sending and receiving or just sending.

It is one text if you send a message, and another text if you receive a text.

That is both sending and receiving. Meaning you can send or receive 200 mess.

NOTE: Even if you don't open the message, it'll still count.
