I've used E-bay for years, and have had only a few transactions go wrong, and almost always the seller has corrected the problem quickly & to my satisfaction. I try only to deal with sellers who have a good deal of feedback, tho. You really should uphold your end, just keep all of the records & printouts, so if you do have a problem, you can prove your side to E-bay, if you need to.

Never put all your trust in anything when it comes to your own money. If you read the feedback you will see that people get ripped off by ebay each and everyday. I've used it and gotten ripped off but I've successfully bought some antique pieces that I am proud of. You have to be sure to use PayPal or Google Checkout. BUT beware, even PayPal can be ripoffs. Everyone has their price. Know what you are buying and who you are buying from. Make sure they are sellers who a lot of people have bought from and people have had positive experiences with them. NEVER totally expect 100% what you see in the picture, 93% of the time you'll get exactly what you see, the other 7% of the time you're in for a bit of a surprise and a bit of a letdown. You must remember that NOT all people in this world are honest and a lot of them are just selling junk they want to get rid of.
Peace & Love :)

I will never again pay with anything other than Paypal. I have won many auctions and have only had one bad experience. Luckily, I paid with Paypal and I got my money back. (The person closed their account and never sent my merchandise. It was $245 worth of stuff.)

2 times I had bought from Shady ebay sellers. Ebay resolved the problem quickly and I got my $$ back.
Soo many great ebayers out their. Always use Paypal, and add insurance to shipping for valuable items.

good luck!

Some lady was sueing someone for giving her "pictures" of cell phones instead of actual phones, so yah, it could be a waste of money is you didn't bring it up with the law.
