No they do not. Let me give you a list of the things Christian Science teaches about Jesus. These resources were taken from their own book written by Mary Baker Eddy and is called---"Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." They teach that-----
# Christ is the spiritual idea of sonship
# Jesus was not the Christ,
# "Jesus Christ is not God, as Jesus himself declared...
# Jesus did not reflect the fullness of God,
# The sacrifice of Jesus was not sufficient to cleanse from sin. Others still believe that Jesus didn't die at all.
Further more Christian Science teaches that there is no devil, there is no sin, evil and good are not real, matter, sin, and sickness are not real, but only illusions, life is not material or organic,
Bottom line, Christian Science not only is a cult but is a blasphemous cult.

Christian Scientists do not believe in either the deity of Jesus Christ, nor the atonement of the Cross..They believe the world to be illusion and hold to very strange spiritualized interpretations of not one,but all,of even the most basic tenets of the faith and universally understood, major biblical doctrines...Christian science belief, based on the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy,is rejected by main stream Christianity,as a non-Christian cult...Consider the words of M.B.E.,concerning the atonement of Jesus Christ:
"The material blood of Jesus Christ was no more efficacious to cleanse from sin, when it was shed upon the accursed tree, than when it was flowing in the veins,as He went daily about His Father's business"....
I do not doubt the average Christian Scientist,as to sincerity of belief( I have known at least one,in my lifetime)but the beliefs of Christian Science, are not compatable with genuine Christian thought and hold to the most strange beliefs of any group claiming to be Christian.
This is neither rejection of either Christian Scientists,as people, nor the sincerity of their beliefs...It is rejection of beliefs that are in opposition to the gospel of Jesus Christ and is in defense of the Gospel...

Yes and no. They believe somewhat in the spirit of Jesus Christ, but that he spoke through Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Christian Science movement. Her words are considered to be as much the word of God as the Bible. They deny that there is any thing such as evil and that all bad things like illnesses are just in your mind. They are very big differences between Christian Science and Christianity. Most Christians consider it to be a cult, even though they have a respected Newspaper.

I don't want to offend anyone, but what the hell kind of person would let their own child die of an apppendicitis when the medical staff could save them?
What the hell kind of God would demand that parents let their own children die of an illness that can easily be cured?
Those people shouldn't be allowed custody of their children.
What do you suppose Jesus thinks of that?
Luke in the Bible was a physician, if I'm not mistaken.
