Hey NJ! What do you call those strange u turns or left turn alternatives on your roads?

last night i visited mount laurel, nj and wanted to make a left turn at a side street but the jersey barrier was blocking it and i did not see a left turn lanes but discovered after a few blocks these things.

I'm not from New Jersey, but I've travelled a lot to New Jersey to visit family and I've always heard those turns referred to as jug handles.
