I'm a PSP noob and just got my PSP 3000 and I'm waiting 'til Dark Alex (or anyone) finds a way to downgrade PSP 3000. But while they're still working on it, is it a good idea to upgrade my firmware?
I'm currently running on Version 4.20

the 3000 isnt hackable so i would just update it. it gives more features. if it becomes hackable, theres gonna be a downgrader for every firmware. i updated my phat to 2.71 like 3 or 2 years ago and i was like ****. i just found out bout homebrew and stuff and i was like DAMN im screwed. but then i just waited and then they came up with the pandoras battery.
