Why don't Yahoo Groups trim messages properly,where can I learn how to do it myself?

many people who use Yahoo groups and reply, either don't know how to 'trim', or they just don't bother. also, leaving the previous message helps to know who the member is replying to.

depends on where you're posting from. if from the group, when you hit reply, default is the previous goes with it. you'd hold down the left mouse key and scroll over the entire previous post, then right click over it and select delete. if you're posting from your own mail, depends on your provider. my default is the previous doesn't come when I hit reply. The people who post the messages are the ones who should trim their own messages. When replying to a post, highlight and delete the part you don't want to show in your reply. You could bring this problem to the group owner's attention and ask if he/she would please ask members to trim their messages when replying....Show more
