so i usually just add in three more dollars to my 20 dollar cut, but im wondering if i should tip the shampoo girl seperatly because im nots ure if stylists split the tip with the shampoo girl. what do you think

I have been a shampoo girl before and it is customary to tip the shampoo girl separately. they are working on tips just like the stylist and make a crap load less money. sometimes stylists do tip the shampoo girl at the end of the day, but it doesn't always happen.

you should because it will only be fair , the hairstylist wont always give the appropriate amount that you gave. so i would if it was anyone else besides my mother.
