D-Link Wireless adapter issue?

I have a D-Link wireless network card in my computer. I am running Windows XP and everytime I start my computer I have to repair my connection before I can go to the internet. I just get a local connection until then. Any suggestions as to how I can get this to stop?

I've got the same card & situation if I have to 'restart' (for all these MS updates crud) but the problem goes away when I (normal method) 'hibernate':
Shutdowns using the 'hibernate' method gives several benefits: It's a near zero power state; all 'startup' folder items are already loaded, Windows background services are already running, and all open work moves to the hard drive, giving really fast start-ups.
And if power is lost (storms, etc.) the document or picture you were working on won't be lost like it would be in 'Standby' mode, and the system will resume just where you left it.

First try the first 2 innovations if doesnt artwork try loose ccleaner. get rid of all temp information. also flow to residing house windows prefetch record and delete all contents(will come decrease back at restart), restart and take a inspect back to connect. make positive u have your connection chosen and under no circumstances neighbour with a touch lock on the relationship. sturdy good fortune
