I don't have Nero, but I know this dvd burning software can help you burn AVI video to DVD to play on DVD player, my friends recommend it to me, it works pretty well. And here is a step by step guide about how to use it

Download an AVI to DVD format converter.

I suggest this free one:

Once you have it converted, use Nero 7. Choose to burn data, and burn all the DVD files to a DVD.

Hello there...

Use nero express that comes with Nero 7 i think... it has a wizard...

choose video burning, then video cd, and the wizard will guide you and allow you to create a video dvd or video cd...

best regards
