Craving cookies...what do you suggest?

I've been craving chocolate chip cookies today and I do not know of any vegan chocolate cookies that I can find at a grocery store. Do you know of any?
The closet grocery stores to me are H.E.B, Target, Kroger, Wal-Mart, and the furthest being WholeFoods.

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but the recipes sounds so good and so easy...

Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
These cookies are free of dairy and eggs, making them perfect to serve to vegans, people with allergies, or just chocolate chip cookie lovers! They're also made without hydrogenated shortening, so they're free of trans fats.

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup vanilla soymilk
1/4 cup canola oil
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips (or to taste)
How to make the cookies:

Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda together in a large bowl.
Mix the soymilk, oil, and vanilla together in a small bowl or measuring cup.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until the mixture forms a thick batter.
Stir in the chocolate (or carob or peanut butter) chips.
Place spoonfuls of batter on a cookie sheet. (Make sure to space them far enough apart to give them room to expand.)
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until the cookies start to turn lightly golden and a toothpick inserted in a cookie comes out clean.
Makes one dozen large cookies.

Why don't you make some?

It is not difficult. There are loads of recipes on the web, just search under "vegan chocolate chip cookies". Maybe even some recipes and videos on youtube.

Shop brought ones are normally full of unhealthy trans-fats, processed flours, refined sugars and artificial sweeteners.

At least home-made ones will be better for you, as you know what goes into them.

Honestly, by the time you have travelled into town, searched the shops and brought a packet……..you could have made and eaten fifteen fresh batches at home.

If you don't want to make them at home, at least buy the best quality that you can afford

If you can't find any pre-made you could make some yourself with Quaker brand cookie mix. Just use water instead of the milk and eggs, or Soymilk and egg replacer if you have it.

Whole foods has really awesome vegan double chocolate chip cookies in their baked goods section.
