Where can you actually chat in Yahoo Messenger/ online?

I'm bored at work and decided to download Yahoo Messenger. However every chat room I go, no one is chatting, just annoying girls saying they want to talk to guys and strip in front of their web cams.

I JUST want to TALK to people. Shoot the sh*t. Not hit it up with a lame teenager.

If Yahoo Messenger doesn't have what I'm looking for, can you direct me to a chat page where people are having actual conversations?

Yahoo Messenger chat rooms suck, for the exact reasons you've pointed out. Perhaps aol chat room? If that doesn't work, I recommend finding a specific website in something you're interested and see if they have a type of chat area.

Open your yahoo messenger. On the top click 'messenger' then go to yahoo chat.go to join a room then you select your favorite room and start chatting. those who r online they are colored
