Why the "Top Contributor" banner is not under my name any more. Is this because I have answered questions in other categories lately? Or just a Yahoo Answers glitch? I have tried to, but can't figure out how to contact Yahoo Answers directly to ask them.

Top Contributor badges are gained & Kept through your RECENT activity on the site, in those categories that you had the badge in.
If you slip below your usual Answering Habits, Start to receive less best answers, or are answering many questions in other categories then you can lose your badge.
If you now go back to the category(s) you were Top Contributor in, you could get them back within about 2 weeks.

Maybe you have been usurped and somebody else in your categories has overtaken you points wise. Somebody else asked this a while ago; it happened after they had taken a short break, maybe you have to be a very regular answerer.
