How would the world respond if Israel would have initiated firing rockets at "innocent Hamas terrorists"? ?
I just cannot understand how the entire world is against a country who is merely defending the lives of it's citizens from a warped terrorist orginization. True they sent their military in to fight the terrorists, but that is only after they fired those seem to be forgotten 1000's of rockets at innocent civilians. Here's the difference: Hamas specifically targets innocent civilians to promote their political agenda, while casualties resulting from Israeli fire are only accidents and driven by a more moral cause which is to protect it's citizens like any normal country would such as America. What did America do when terrorists struck the world trade center? I dare someone to even insinuate that they still support those murdering terrorists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really need to understand that Hamas firing these pitiful homemade bottle rockets ( http://www.rense.com/1.imagesH/deviz.jpg ) is NOT the reason Gaza is being invaded. This has been planned for months as Step 2 of the plan to rid the Gaza Strip of the native population. Step 1 (of which you are probably unaware) involved a 2-year siege where Israel closed the borders and did not allow any food, water, fuel or medicines to come in and did not let sick people or students on international scholarships leave Gaza. That went on for TWO YEARS, so you lot who haven't been following the news and believe that all of a sudden poor Israel started getting fired on and is defending itself are deluded and dangerous. Dangerous because you are allowing the Israeli government to get away with a long-term plan to ethnically cleanse all of Palestine of the native Arab and Christian population.
Many people on Y!A, especially Americans, are not unlike the Germans in WW2, who allowed themselves to be completely unaware of what their government was doing. If you control the media, you control the sheeple.
Add- Oh Bunii thanks for clearing that up. I was afraid the International Red Cross, Physicians for Human Rights, the UN, Oxfam and numerous Israeli human rights groups knew more than you and your FoxNews. God I wish I could be totally wrong and smug at the same time!
Add- Rachel, bottle rockets are dangerous. I wouldn't stand in front of one. But no civilized jury would find me innocent if I killed hundreds of people in my neighborhood because one fool shot one at me. Keep the big picture in mind... this is Part 2 of the plan, started by Ben-Gurion, to rid the entire area of native Palestinians.
the hamas anti-israel people would react in exactly the same way
the fact that hamas fires these rockets from homes and schools at israeli towns means nothing .....it is irrelevant
israel and the jews are always to blame .....and if it is hard to justify hamas'sactions they dig into their propaganda bag of whinges and pull out the 'it is our land', '1946'. '1967; 'hilter had the right idea', 'israel is just as bad as nazis', etc etc
hamas and palestinian supporters do not CARE that hamas is a bunch of islamic terrorists so long as they kill israelis
hamas supporters will always blame israel for everything .........it is just the way they are ....
yet they call israeli supporters bigots and racists .....you've got to love their double standards don't you? or foolishness? or lack of education .....no this should be condemned ..but accounts for a whole lot
There is only one possible reason that the entire world can expect Israelis to accept living under constant fire, in constant fear of their lives: they are Jews. Let's face it, Jews have been forced to do this historically; and the fact that modern Jews are "daring" to defend themselves certainly must rile the supremacist anti-Semite in Jew haters.
Edit: It's interesting how Mr. Natural and so many others keep saying that the rockets Hamas launches at Israel are "pathetic", "homemade" and "harmless". Of course, they forget to mention the homes that have been wrecked by them: http://www.flickr.com/photos/israelnewsphotosdotcom/3162434211/ Or the people killed and maimed, like Osher Tuito, who lost his leg in an attack, or Irit Shitrit, who was murdered in such an attack: http://www.flickr.com/photos/israelnewsphotosdotcom/3163258500/ Coincidence?
Edit: "one fool", Mr. Natural? Israel is targeting Hamas, who is responsible for these attacks. The "innocents" in Gaza (i.e. the non-Hamas, non-terrorists) were the ones who put Hamas in control, allowed them to continue their terrorism, and even allowed them to live amongst them -- thereby both directly and indirectly supporting the attacks on Israel. Yes, it is regrettable that the noncombatants were killed, and it is tragic that the children -- who are victims of their parents and Hamas -- were harmed. But no decent, honest person can expect a nation to allow a huge portion of its population to live under constant attack because the terrorists, with the support of the civilian population that empowered them, make their homes amongst noncombatants.
Exactly, it seems it is okay for Israel to suffer from constant rocket attacks but we are meant to pity the poor little terrorists when they get some back at them. I doubt many countries on this planet would tolerate being the subject of rocket attacks. As for the innocent civillians, Hamas doesn't seem to give a toss about them when they used them as human shields.
Defending itself against terrorist? Huh? Funny that.
I don't remember Hamas putting 1.5 million Israelis in a prison. Cornering them from all sides. Stopping all food and medical supplies and then expecting them to behave rationally?
