Well ex. 1. Gay marriage is not legal in the vast majority of the US. It's like a taboo. 2. Affection. Rarely seen these days. It's all about personal space 3. Education in schools. No religion, mostly american history. You get world history but what african american or mexican or another's race history 4. No nudity. A boob there and OMG! Scandal! 5. Censorship 6. The Middle East. Right because if a person is from the Middle East or looks like they might be from the ME, then they must be a terrorist.
I know America is really mixed, so I know not everyone is like that.

Those of you who disagree, maybe a little more on the why you disagree?

Well I don't know. Give me an example that makes you think America is that way. EDIT: Mmm ok. You made some very valid points and I think you are totally awesome for saying not everyone in America is like that. I actually guess I agree with what you are saying. But I'm not sure calling it uptight is exactly the way to describe it. Uhm concerning the gay marriage and Middle East issues I think that's mostly based on people's religion and fear. As for the nudity I think it's ridiculous that it's everywhere on television but it accidentally is shown in real life and everyone freaks and bashes the person. What do they expect? And for affection I guess if it isn't shown it's because there is a lack thereof. Overall I guess on some of these topics America may be uptight but for the most part I think we are actually more lax and undiciplined. Just saying it how I see it.
