Freedom of Choice Act?

I've heard that this act, if passed, will require churches to marry homosexual couples, and require Catholic adoption agencies to allow homosexual couples to adopt. I'm not sure on any of this, so if anyone has a link to where the bill is fully explained, I would really appreciate it.

"Freedom of Choice Act"

the freedom to choose, and yet it appears to say,"require churches to marry"

Contradiction?

I am gonna look this up.

Okay, I did. But now I need to read it:
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c108:S.2020:

Edit:
It appears its just for women and abortion
Pretty much sums it up here:

" a) STATEMENT OF POLICY- It is the policy of the United States that every woman has the fundamental right to choose to bear a child, to terminate a pregnancy prior to fetal viability, or to terminate a pregnancy after fetal viability when necessary to protect the life or health of the woman.

(b) PROHIBITION OF INTERFERENCE- A government may not--

(1) deny or interfere with a woman's right to choose--

(A) to bear a child;

(B) to terminate a pregnancy prior to viability; or

(C) to terminate a pregnancy after viability where termination is necessary to protect the life or health of the woman; or

(2) discriminate against the exercise of the rights set forth in paragraph (1) in the regulation or provision of benefits, facilities, services, or information.

(c) CIVIL ACTION- An individual aggrieved by a violation of this section may obtain appropriate relief (including relief against a government) in a civil action."

I know of no such law. Nor can any church be required to marry anyone--even heterosexuals. As far as adoptions go, Catholics or Pagans for that matter cannot deny adoptions on the basis of religion because they are receiving taxpayer money.

BUM BUM BUM.....Try actually reading up on something or just using logic next time before you try and tell us that the government is going to force churches to marry people, and force doctors to perform abortions.

Such an act would be unconstitutional. Govt can't require the church to marry homosexuals.

You could have just googled it and saved yourself some time.

although googling is now unsafe for the enviroment.
Is there anything that is ok?
