i have the town fountain, i threw in the axe in hope to get serena the goddessy girl and get a golden one for those who dont know its a cheat
i was a fool and said i threw in a golden one and she hadda go at me and returned my normal one, wil i get a chance again to throw in the axe or does this only happen once?

When you throw it in, I think you have to say that it was a normal axe, and on rare occasions you can get either a silver or gold axe.

You can do it once a day.
