Can't remember the Chinese or Korean name of this veggie ( herb ) ... ?

Question

Chinese/Korean restaurants the part of NJ I used to live in ( Bergen Co. ) served these a lot. All of the Asian produce markets carried them. They look exactly like green grass, but slightly wider. The very bottoms are white. In English I believe it is called either Chinese chives or Garlic Chives. I knew and asked for it by the Chinese ( or Korean?) name... but now I can't for the life of me remember it! I have found photos of it on line, but not the Chinese name.
They are delicious stir fried, and I am on a mission to find it in this hick town I live in now.

Oh... I know what you're talking about.  but no i don't know the name of it.  In Mandarin it's called Jiu Cai.  I don't write chinese but it sounds like Alcohol Vegetable.  I'm sure the "Jiu" in "Jiu Cai" refers to something else.

I could answer this question, but I don't know what is calling in China. 
We called this veggie as pa, we also have diffrence species regarding this veggie, we always use this veggie for recipe all kind of soup, it make our soup is sweat and delicous.
