I liked Club Dead, because there was a whole lot less Bill and Sookie's relationships with Eric and Alcide are building.

I read the first one yesterday and I've read 3 pages of the second one :-P
So I can't really answer.
But I really liked the first one. Sam is pretty cool being able to shift into any shape he wants.
