The great divide, the end of an age golden dawn...?

The two fish swim in two different directions and are often represented in two distinct colors. The water bearer is coming to lay down for us some fresh water to swim out into and we must make a choice. Darkness, or light? These next few years will be the widening of the great divide between truth and ignorance, are you in the dark on this one or are you swimming out into the fresh water? (pardon the pun)
Do you think the golden age is a chance at ending dualism?
Do you think the waters are literal or metaphorical or both?

By the way, I hope all the ignorant people can post on here to let me know how ignorant they are, because I love feeling like I'm going somewhere in life.

The gray is an illusion, just like the world. The perceived world is a result of a formulation of all subjective minds and their choices. As far as being truthful to yourself the world certainly is black and white.

This has nothing to do with my beliefs, it has to do with me asking you if you are truthful with yourself.

Where are you going apart from to your multicolored van to smoke more pot?

I choose neither side. I answer to no one. They can both leave me to walk this earth for all eternity.

lost of things and it depends what you believe... The Roman empire grew too big to be controlled and managed effectively and in the end collapsed because of a lack of management. At one point it empire was split into 2 areas and back into one and stuff Some people believe it was an effect of Lead poisoning, the amount of Lead they in their cities and therefore in their systems was incredible... lead plumbing, so their water, that they are drinking was laced with lead and the upper class were drinking from lead goblets and using lead plates filled with food that has been grown with the water from the lead pipes, they bathed in lead baths etc etc. too much lead for their system and they ('they' being mostly the upper class and those in control) lost it mentally. It could have been the creation of the position of emperor that did them in, once the emperor had power they could do anything, before the emperor, they had a senate, a bunch of people who sat down a sorted out their problems through talking, once people got into a triumvirate (3 people of equal power, with armies and money and stuff) they fought out their lust for power with their armies and one person became the victor and declared them self Emperor and after that he did what ever he wanted. Once he did that, other people began fighting for power and things just went down hill as the opportunity of absolute power was too much for some people. There are some reasons, take your pick... :D History is only defined by those who can argue their point. I hope this is helpful ~God Bless~ ~Kimbo~

Pass to the left, doooood! ;-)

I say whatever, as long as you don't hurt people with your religious or political beliefs, you're OK with me, and OK with your fishey metaphors. Yin Yang is lodged in your mind from prolonged exposure to scarves and stickers and LP covers...

"The light color area which indicates more sunlight is called Yang (Sun). The dark color area has less sunlight (more moonlight) and is called Yin (Moon). Yang is like man. Yin is like woman. Yang wouldn't grow without Yin. Yin couldn't give birth without Yang. Yin is born (begins) at Summer Solstice and Yang is born (begins) at Winter Solstice. Therefore one little circle Yin is marked on the Summer Solstice position. Another little circle Yang is marked on the Winter Solstice position. These two little circles look like two fish eyes"

Your one problem is that you consider non-adherence to your beliefs to be 'ignorant', and you are seeking validation in other's disagreement.

ie:

"I hope all the ignorant people can post on here to let me know how ignorant they are, because I love feeling like I'm going somewhere in life."

Sad that you seek narrow-mindedness or disagreement in others in order to feel that you are 'going somewhere'. That doesn't reflect well on you. Sorry.

Interesting metaphor. But I think I will be a bird in the sky, and just see how it all plays out... ooh look a worm.
