What is wrong with my Motorola Z3?

I have a Motorola Z3 phone and whenever I try to send text messages, they go to my outbox, but they won't send. I look at their status and it just says "Sending in progress". My carrier is T-Mobile and I don't think it has to do with signal because my phone has a full bar. What could be wrong?

I've had that happen every so often on a different carrier. Try shutting the phone off, taking out the battery, then replace it, turn it back on and resend. I had to do it a bunch of times but it worked every time.

that happens on my phone but my friends say they get the texts so just know that they get them
