recording VHS Movies to DVD?

I have a lot of old VHS movies, (no longer available), that I'd like to transfer to DVD. How can I get around the built in copy protections and get a nice copy?

Clear Pix Digital Video Stabilizer 200 model. Go to Clear Pix's web-site & check it out. You know, you'll have to have a dvd-recorder, another vcr player, plus the stabilizer, to accomplish this.

you need to purchase a DVD recorder. What this does is that that's a device that checklist directly to a DVD disk. It has a place the place you need to place the digital camera audio and video inputs. The device has seperate inputs that would connect with a television for viewing the video which you're recording. To checklist on DVD place a sparkling DVD disc into the slot of the DVD recorder and then press play on the accessible cam and on the comparable time press checklist on the device. One you have complete recording you are able to now take the DVD out of the device and look at it on the computing device.
