does anyone else get really sad when their spouse has to go away for work?

my husband is in the military and he got picked to go to an uninhabited island for an undisclosed amount of time to fix a jet that is downed there.  we cant communicate and i dont know when he'll be home and it really sucks being alone

It's definitely hard.  My husband of 3 weeks left  for 15 months.  He's also in the Military.  It's quite difficult.
